Tips on getting a mortgage

Posted by Susan K on October 29th, 2008

You can be sure of two things: It is harder to get a mortgage now than it was a year ago, and the fine print can have life-changing consequences.

Be prepared when going to your lender.
Gather your paperwork before you meet with a lender.
Get preapproved for a mortgage. Unlike “prequalifying,” preapproval means you have a loan lined up, which makes your offer more attractive to sellers. You don’t have to accept a loan from a company that preapproves it.

Consider buying …

Taking the Scare Out of Driving on Halloween

Posted by Susan K on October 24th, 2008

McCann Center Flea Market

Posted by Susan K on October 17th, 2008

McCann center is having their flea market, and pie sale, on Sat. Oct. 18th from 9am to 3pm.
11 churches are raising funds for utility assistance for low income citizens. Go to this enjoy, have some pie and help out. My family and I love going to this every year, its nice to see homemade items, small businesses selling their wares, and seeing friends there.
